They plan to build 15 more camping spots AT SLOQUET and make the natural hotsprings into tubs! Please stop them from doing this to such a natural place get involved and spread the word to other soakers.
Only vague memories of Sloquet Hot Springs, and one of them is tissue paper scattered like snow drifts around the trees there. Kinda gross - I wish people would use make-shift chop sticks or spears to put their used toilet tissues into the fire.
Thinking about it a bit more, the pools were lovely in the way they were tiered. Seem to recall there was a lot of candle wax melted on the rocks.
Anyway, thanks for the heads-up on the proposed changes!
