Raspberries
Rick on Vivian Street gave us some raspberry plants this year, and we got a fairly good crop off of them.

Potatoes!
Bought 50 lbs of potatoes from neighbour "Tony Tomato" last fall. This spring the shoots were 8" long, potatoes themselves were getting soft, so I planted them early.
There was not much summer to speak of, we're in mid-August, and 2 weeks ago we harvested 18 lbs from the 18 or so potatoes we planted. And, we found a couple more today and suspect there are more still to find.

2011 squash
This is from a planter in the front yard.
Planted Buttercup (kabocha) squash, got something looking like a "D"-cup. It should've all been green.
It was delicately flavoured, had a greenish ring around it, and smelled like a blend of squash and melon.
Ate it 2011/09/08.

Bell peppers
Our first time having bell peppers grow & ripen.
Sweet, crispy, and juicy!
Considering the lousy summer of 2011, it's remarkable.
