B.C. Interior faces high risk of catastrophic forest fires: expert - Many communities in the B.C. Interior are at significant risk of potentially catastrophic forest fires this summer because critical prevention work promised by the government has not been done, a forestry expert said Friday. Yet another promise of Gordon Campbell's unfulfilled once the spot light is turned elsewhere.

How this gets talked about a week *after* an election, along with the 50% increase in welfare recipients in the last 8 months, and Gordo's fudgit-budget.

Just tonight I saw Ian Hannomansing on CBC TV reporting how the NDP was now, post election, keeping the massive pay raise Gordo's Liberals gave MLAs 2 years ago.

They made the NDP look like they flip-flopped on the issue, even showing Gordo saying, "We all knew the NDP would eventually take the raise." Like it makes *them* look bad.

Yet the NDP MLAs have donated the raise money to charity for the last 2 years; about $500,000.

The NDP voted *against* the raise.

The Liberals have pocketed the money all along, and tabled the raise in the first place. A 50% raise!

And even the CBC is making the NDP look bad on this?!?

Makes my head explode.
